We have our own internal Club Championships, held over three evenings in Spring/Summer.  These galas give all our swimmers the opportunity to compete in a smaller event to get competition experience, set baseline times and maintain an accurate database record of swimmers times.  The galas are run under ASA Laws and ASA Technical Rules and are 'Licensed Meet Level 4'. This means that times can be used for Counties entry.

Dates for Club Champs 2012:  21st January (50m Sprints), 26th May and 23rd June.

Currently Susanne Rauberger manages our entries for all Club Champs. Cheques should always be made to 'CoStA' and handed to your coach. Please make note of any deadlines - no entries will be accepted post a deadline. Any queries can be discussed with your coach.

Swimmers are divided in 4 Houses, based on Surname, as follows.  Coloured house hats can be bought on the night of the gala or alternatively are available from our club shop.

• Augustus (A-E) -  Red
• Nero (F-K) - Blue
• Maximus (L-P) - Green
• Tiberius (Q-Z) - Yellow

We also hold the "The John Hempenstall Memorial Gala for Under 10's" at the High School in Autumn of each year.  This is, as the name suggests, a Gala for U10's only and is a good chance for our younger members to participate in a smaller gala to get their first taste of competition.  This gala offers 25m races in all strokes, 50m free and 100m IM.
