Club emails

We have recently moved our club email to a new info@costaasc.org account.  If you train with CoStA and have not received an email from the club in the last couple of days please send a message to  info@costaasc.org.

Give your swimmers' name, squad and your email address. We moved all the addresses over from our old account but apologies if we missed you out.

Club Champs - well done to all.

Many congratulations to all swimmers who took part in Round 1 of Club Champs on Saturday 21st Jan.  Our Club Champs are your chance to mark your progress against last years effort and it was good to see so many swimmers taking part and to see some great times logged across the whole club. 

Well done to Augustus House who won the first round but it's all to play for in rounds 2 and 3 and we hope to see you all again at those galas.  An updated Club Champs Records file can be found here (Club Champs Records) or in the CoStA Events - Club Champs folder.

Herts County Championships - 2012

The qualifying times, programme of events and the Club's entry form for the Herts County Championships have been loaded into the CoStA Events - Open Meets area (CoStA Events - Open Meets ) of this site. 

Please note that the Club's closing date to accept entries is Tuesday 7th February.  All entry forms and payments must be with Debbie Millar, our Meet Secretary, by that date.  Entries can be given to your coach to pass on.

Herts ASA have amended the programme of events with some slight changes to Session 7, 10 and 11.  Print off a fresh copy if you need to.

Club Champs Reminder

The first round of Club Champs 2012 takes place on Saturday 21st January at Herts Sports Village, Hatfield.  Registration opens at 5.30pm and the warm up starts at 5.45pm.  A couple of reminders:-

• This is Round 1 of our House Championship so bring your House Hat. 
  
  • Augustus (A-E) -  Red (Captain - Laura Coffey)
  • Nero (F-K) - Blue (Captain - Sam Henson)
  • Maximus (L-P) - Green (Captain - Robbie Lightowler)
  • Tiberius (Q-Z) - Yellow (Captain - Holly Winfield)
• We will be selling House hats and T-bags on the night
• Once poolside you will be sitting with other swimmers from your house
• Bring a £1 coin to put your clothing in a locker - bring only the minimum poolside
• Enjoy yourself.

Herts Major League - great results

Congratulations to both our A and B Herts Major League teams who competed on Saturday 7th January in Round 1 of this competition.  Both teams placed 2nd in their respective galas - a great achievement against some strong opposition so well done to all who took part.  There were a lot of PB's set on the night and it was good to see two solid team performances.  We can now look forward to Round 2 on the 28th January.
